KMARTIN GROUP PROGRAMS

The Greater Greener Gloster Project is a grassroots outreach and education initiative established by KMartin Group and several local community residents. This initiative began as a response to a local environmental justice issue involving the Drax Biomass facility.

The purpose of the Greater Greener Gloster project is to help bring about awareness to the environmental and public health issues caused by this facility, to seek justice for the damages associated with the air pollution, and to ensure environmental, public health, and quality of life improvements for the residents in the underserved community of Gloster.

The overall goal is to ensure the promise of clean air, clean water, and safe land for all, especially the local community residents.

The mission of the Greater Greener Gloster project is to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all stakeholders to ensure a better quality of life for the residents of the Gloster community.

To help achieve its mission, the Greater Greener Gloster project will continue to inform and empower the public community through a series of outreach, engagement, education, training, and town hall sessions.
